About Us

Navigating the crosswinds

Established in 2006, Arnotts Landing was involved in print and digital magazine publishing for many years. At the end of 2022, the decision was taken to expand globally and switch the business model to online blogs, webtoons and the publishing of books.

Arnotts Landing takes its inspiration from the love of flying and the pioneering spirit of ‘the good old days’. Explorers, pioneers and daredevils all made their mark on our history. Through the ages, the social landscape has changed dramatically and the younger generations are finding new ways to navigate their way around our social landscape. We invite you to join us on this journey of reflection, linking the touches of nostalgia with glimpses of what the future may reveal.

Our Team

Beverley Hermanson

Bev has extensive experience in the media industry, including customer club magazines, expo show guides, specialist publications and lifestyle magazines that embrace travel, architecture and interior design, motoring, nature and childhood development.

Her skills embrace all aspects of production, from concept, costing, layout and production to delivery of the end product.

Ann Arnott

She is currently working on a series of books that will hopefully be available to readers soon.

Shannon Beekman
Assistant

Shannon has worked part time for Arnotts Landing since 2012. With a wealth of transferable skills, they have provided support across multiple areas of the business such as: assisting with proofreading, providing graphic design and layout support, taking photos for articles, leaning into the design and build of the website, basic tech support, writing the occasional blog post and much more.

Fun fact: Shannon has lived in five countries and visited over 80 cites around the world.

Alice
Muse

Ally (named after Alice in Wonderland) may or may not choose to acknowledge your presence, depending on what mood she’s in. Her favorite person is the gardener, although she’s not averse to stalking someone if there’s a hint of being taken for a run.

Sensitive and exceptionally intelligent, she loves sleeping on one of her numerous couches and going on adventures in the car.

Our core team is supported by a network of contributors with diverse interests. If you would like to join our network and submit articles for publication, please feel free to reach out via our Contact Form. [Ts & Cs apply].
